Yesterday we got a postcard from Georgia. She is currently on holidays with her family on a cruise in the Whitsundays, Queensland. The postcard took 3 days to reach us, all the way from Cairns. Do you think Georgia has seen any Australian animals on her cruise?

Unfortunately due to the wet weather we had to postpone our visit to the fauna park. We are going to try again in 2 weeks – Wednesday 5th May. Hopefully the weather will be fine.

Today Kasey brought in a snake skin. The snake skin came from her pet python. The skin is a brown colour. The scales have left a spotted pattern on the skin. The python lives in a special tank in Kasey’s lounge room. We have put the skin in our special Australian animal display.
